Location

The estate is 2km from the local village called Casa Nova da Cruz. It has two cafes and it is full of friendly helpful neighbours. 

The estate is 7km from Sao Teotonio which has a population of roughly six thousand. The amenities of the town include: 3 banks, a post office, a secondary school, a primary school, a police station, a fire-station, a new health centre and multiple restaurants and hardware stores. There is also a popular local market selling local produce on the 1st Monday of every month .

The estate is 13km from a small fishing village called Zambujeira do Mar on the unspoilt coast of Vincentina. There are a variety of restaurants here preparing mainly Portuguese cuisine. It is highly regarded for its fresh fish that comes straight from the harbor. This stretch of coast offers some of the best undisturbed sandy beaches in Portugal. It is protected by the national reserve so there are no hotels overhanging the beaches. It is also famous for its surfing due to the Atlantic swell.

The other notable local locations are Boa Vista da Pinheiros and Odemira which are 8km and 11km north of the property respectively.

The nearest airport is Faro which is 1 hour and 20 minutes away. The airport in Lisbon is 2 hours and 20 minutes drive away.

There is a local train station 20 minutes drive away called Santa Clara-Saboia and it takes 2 hours to get to Lisbon and approximately 1 hour to get to Faro from here.
